Jake Hodesh is the Operations Director for People’s Liberty in Cincinnati. This fascinating project is focused on helping individuals turn their ideas into reality for the betterment of their community. It is shifting the sense of what philanthropy means by putting the focus on funding individuals with ideas, rather than more traditional organizations. He has some fascinating insights into how we can empower changemakers and what can happen when funders think differently about their role. No matter which side of the grantor/grantee relationship you are on, there is a lot to learn from here!
